Our voicemail system also does Caller ID logging and display of all calls
coming in. If it doesn't match what they tell us, that sends up a black
flag. Also, all accounts are PENDING until I call them back to notify them
that it has been activated. Plus, with caller id NAME, it tells us if it is
a payphone. If they use a friends number, the friend will be responsible
for their actions. Additional lines should come up under the same NAME, and
therefore be caught by your checking of the last name. So, even if you
don't call them back, all you really need is caller id/name. That would
practically eliminate the Cons...
