Re: Changing passwords via the webFrom: David Head Date: Sunday, October 3, 1999
Time: 11:28:34 pmSo what is the point of allowing a user to change their password via the web
when it doesn't update the authentication server? If we have to then
manually change the Radius server to match the OptiGold password, how do we
know which users have changed their password? Is this logged anywhere?
I cannot see how the web feature is at all useful. It would be better for
the user to email us with their new password, fax it to us, or to phone us!
Surely this technology is better than that!
In summary, why?
