RADIUS Files and more...

All,
We are testing the waters with Optigold and I must say I am very impressed
with its functionality so far. However, there is one thing I must get
working in order to deploy the software LAN wide and thus use it for the
company. The documentation boasts that the software can make a radius file
which in turn would be used to update our radiusdb. The issue is this:

Whenever I attempt to force optigold to make the radius (manually) I get an
error that says something similar to there are 0 matching criteria. I then
click OK and then it says the file authent.txt was made. I look for
authent.txt but there is no such file anywhere on the system.

I don't have a large database of users (fake users as this is in a testing
environment still). There currently are only 2 or 3.

ok...now one more question.

Our terminal server allows QoS and QoA entries for our users. According to
the documentation from the mfr of our terminal server in order to use the
QoA and QoS features of the box using an external RADIUS server we would
put values in of the FRAMED fields using the syntax: <vpn>;<qoa>;<qos>

I attempted this as well but have not been able to clarify whether it works
or not (from above issue) but question therein lies here: Where can I alter
these fields for the radius from an input point of view. I want to be able
to allow my customer service people to place a QoS and/or QoA value in a
customer data field that will automagically update those fields in the
RADIUS database file.

I appreciate assistance from anyone.

Thank you!
Jim
