Search Again: Request From: Alexi Touloumis Date: Tuesday, January 18, 2000 Time: 12:33:58 pm I'm not sure what the rest of you think, but the tech support screen is quite nice, and makes it easy to look up client issues. I'm wondering if it's possible to do something similar with the call activity, as we log all customer contact there (if it is not support related). I've had multiple requests from people in-house for the call activity to be a bit more like the tech support interface. We log billing issues, questions, sales calls (for additional services, etc.) just to name a few, and it seems that it would make much sense to give a facelift to the call activity. It would be nice if all activities are then logged here, instead of the notes. We get so much stuff added to the notes it gets difficult to scroll through it all sometimes. Just how the tech support has classification, the call activity should too (billing, sales, etc. is what we'd use). We could also tag a customer for a callback (as in the tech support), but it would have the sales group get the popup screen instead, or whoever we choose in the preferences. You could also put in a quote screen so that we could have the ability to send quotes to current customers (I know this has been asked for many times), which is something that I'm sure most people have to do often (ourselves included).
