I currently run load balancing on a 2514 with 2 T1's. Seems to be working
Re: Backbone etc.

just fine. I am a PacBell user so I know nothing of the others. Also a
router to handle T3 which I don't think a 25xx series will is quite a
price. T1's seem to be pretty reasonable these days.
