I've tried to duplicate it, and I can't... I have a machine running
FileMaker Pro Server, with FileMaker Pro 4.0 (for web) AND the runtime
running the automated tasks. Both of which are always minimized. And
when I open them, they show up just fine like they should.

It's running NT 4.0 w/ sp3... what OS are you using?

Unforunately no...
