Shawn,

I understand your calc, but.....

if an account expires at the *end* of a period (month, quarter,
year), and the client has paid *through* that period, this doesn't
work well.

Basically, we would need to set all expiration dates for the 1st of
each period. The problem is that this will confuse the hell out of
everybody. Now their accounts would expire on the 1st day of the new
period, and invoices would read like this:

Invoice Example for a 3rd Quarter billing:

"Service period is paid through: July 1st"
"Payment will extend service period To: October 1st"

I think a lot of customers will be confused by this. It is hard for
people to visualize periods ending like this.

Why can't we have an option for the system think in calendar months?
