Correct.

If you are using FileMaker Pro, you can get to this dialog from the File
-> Open dialog and then click on the "Hosts" button...

Data files will only work on server if they are in multi user mode to
begin with, so no.

No, web files are just static text files that reside in the Web folder.

Same as above... Runtime will automatically connect to server, and
FileMaker Pro will need to click on Open -> Hosts.
