Auto close credit card invoices.

We have gone live with 100 users as a test. We are starting to come across
some problems with the automatic task. They don't work. We have not been
able to get auto invoice, auto send past due notice, and rebuild indexes to
work. These are 'active' and it says that 'task are running on this
computer'. We have spent the last week trying to solve these problems
ourselves but have gotten no where. The only thing we can think of is that
we are using runtime on one computer. Auto task is being done by the admin
account. Is this a problem?
Also, the 'auto post payment' for invoices that are paid by credit card
does not work. We generate invoices, (we don't send them because they are
paid by credit card) and want to have all of them auto closed and have the
payment posted. That way if we get a declined credit card we can go back and
open that invoice. What are we doing wrong.
