Slave Account ProrationFrom: Shawn Hogan Date: Thursday, September 24, 1998
Time: 8:26:31 pmOkay, okay... I spent a good part of the day doing this... and it seems
to be working pretty well now...
Anyway, as Scott Black requested (and it's sort of been in the back of my
mind anyway), Optigold ISP can now prorate the initial invoice of a slave
account to be in-line with the master accounts expiration date.
You can add a billing cycle to the slave account (it goes to the master
account's billing cycle with a link back to the slave account like
normal), but now you can also invoice a slave account... It will take
the slave account's billing cycle from the master account and prorate it
out to the master account's expiration date.
I made it a little smarter as well... it will prorate it to whatever the
master account's expiration date would be if all it's invoices were
closed, and it can add setup fees also.
And let me just tell you how difficult that was... It probably sounds
confusing, because it IS. {grin} But if you use slave accounts and can
follow what I just wrote, it should probably make you happy... :-)
Anyway, it will be publicly available when 1.7.3 is released.
Oh yeah... P.S. - Any other requests for 1.7.3?
- Shawn
