Bug reporting and expiration of QDNS Admin Pro

Dear users of Quick DNS

We have found a problem in Quick DNS Pro when handling secondary domains we
wish to report
But before that and more urgent: WHEN DO WE RECEIVE THE NEW VERSION? This
one seems to expire in a few days (holidays are coming!). pls letusknow if
Men adn Mice intenbd to send a new beta version because if not we are
forced to return to an oldert version!

The setup (we are Macintosh based ISP)

2 Non Sequitur name servers contains the information of more than 100 domains
1 Quick DNS Pro Server with lots of RAM running on a PPC queries the two
other dns servers and upgrades regularly the information (on disk and in
RAM)

NOTE : this funny setup is our own practical answer while we wait for a
much more user friendly user interface for QDNS POro Admin. and allows us
to make modifications in a few minutes, while still serving the large
majyority of the user DNS requests form QDNS PRo, fast, cahed.

The problems:

1) Running System 7.5.5 USA. The machine crashes while attempting to print
to the latest plaser wrier printer driver A miunor but irritating problem.

2) The first domain defined in the secondary domains is the reverse zones ARPA.

The file on disk reflects that QDNS has updated the information concerning
reverse zones... So far o good!
BUT when performing a query by Telnet, we can see that what happens is that
QDNS updates the serial and date information, but the content remains the
same! It is not a a matter of cahing. When inspected the updated reverse
xones arpa file does contain old information....

SOLUTION : delete in the Finder the ARPA reverse zones file before
restarting the QDNS Pro server.

kind regards
