I think this sounds good. I have a server running in Copenhagen and would
like to offer my server as secondary DNS.
I would like to propose a feature to QDNS then: Secondary Service File.
This feature would consist of two things, namely 1: A new file telling the
Secondary Server what zones to be secondary for, and 2: A way for the QDNS
Server to get this information.
The reason for this is that I as secondary would only need to be involved
with the serving ones. I would only need to tell my Server where to get the
Secondary Service File. Then the rest would be up to the admin of the zones
I should mirror.
This feature would mean that you should only tell your ISP (or secondary
DNS) ones where to get the setup.
All administration would then be in your own Secondary Service Files.
More thoughts comming soon?
Regards...
