Search Again: QDNS 2 beta still locks-up on IIci From: Rich Gay Date: Friday, July 18, 1997 Time: 3:14:00 pm Installed the v2 beta yesterday to see if it would prevent the daily lockups we've been experiencing. Unfortunately, sometime between 8:30 and 9:00 this morning, it locked-up again. We've got Macsbug installed, but usually the machine just locks up. Config: Mac IIci, System 7.5.3, OT 1.1, 20 megs RAM, 5 megs allocated to QDNS. Nothing else running, and just the basic set of extensions installed. This server takes some pretty heavy traffic from our LetterRip list server, in addition to handling lookups for the 15 or so machines on our local net. Our ISP does zone transfers to the machine to get our full setup, which they serve to the net at large as the primary dns for our domains.
