Search Again:

TCP/IP Control Panel/Server settings?

I now have QDNS set up for our domains.

A. In the TCP/IP control panels of the Macs on our LAN, I have to following
3 fields which are now empty:

1. Implicit Search Path:/Starting Domain Name:
2. Ending Domain Name:
3. Additional Search Domains:

Which, if any, of the above should contain something and what should it be?
I never really understood their function and had previously simply followed
our ISP's instructions.

B. Our webserver currently performs reverse lookups so that users domain
names are logged. Am I better off setting the server's control panel to use
QDNS (on the same LAN) OR our ISP's DNS server (much busier/more cached
entries)?

Thanks for all your help.

John
