Time: 4:43:00 pmJohn,
Due to a limitation of the domain name system, you cannot create a Load
Balancing record which has the same name as the domain. You must use a
different name for the Load Balancing record.
Because of this limitation (and because you cannot create a CNAME record
with the name of your domain) you cannot create a setup where you refer to
your web server by the domain name. (However, if you decide not to use a
Load Balancing record, this limitation no longer applies.)
Based on the above, your domain would look as follows (assuming that your
Load Balancing record is www.tstmarkets.ap.org):
tstmarkets.ap.org NS marketsweb1.tstmarkets.ap.org
tstmarkets.ap.org NS marketsweb2.tstmarkets.ap.org
marketsweb1.tstmarkets.ap.org A 165.1.16.210
marketsweb2.tstmarkets.ap.org A 165.1.16.211
tstmarkets.ap.org MX 10 marketsweb1.tstmarkets.ap.org
tstmarkets.ap.org MX 15 marketsweb2.tstmarkets.ap.org
www.tstmarkets.ap.org LOAD (it's set to 165.1.16.210 and
165.1.16.211)
ticker.tstmarkets.ap.org CNAME www.tstmarkets.ap.org
Note that I changed the MX records and deleted the mail1 and mail2 CNAME
records (you should only use canonical host names in MX records)
As for tstbiznews.ap.org; you should delete the CNAME record which has the
domain name. Corrected, your domain should look as follows:
tstbiznews.ap.org NS marketsweb1.tstmarkets.ap.org
tstbiznews.ap.org NS marketsweb2.tstmarkets.ap.org
tstbiznews.ap.org MX 10 marketsweb1.tstmarkets.ap.org
tstbiznews.ap.org MX 15 marketsweb2.tstmarkets.ap.org
www.tstbiznews.ap.org CNAME www.tstmarkets.ap.org
Note that I added MX records to the domain.
Regards,
Sigurdur
