Let's take an example using the subnet 192.0.2.x which you would
be authorative for. Let's also assume that you want to delegate
a part of the subnet, 192.0.2.0 - 192.0.2.24, to your customer.

You delegate a part of the reverse domain to the other name server
and you also make your server authorative for the part (as a
secondary server)

In the 2.0.192.IN-ADDR.ARPA. domain file on your server you have:
0/26.2.0.192.IN-ADDR.ARPA. NS your.customers.server.com.
0/26.2.0.192.IN-ADDR.ARPA. NS your.quickdns.server.com.
1.2.0.192.IN-ADDR.ARPA. CNAME 1.0/26.2.0.192.IN-ADDR.ARPA.
2.2.0.192.IN-ADDR.ARPA. CNAME 2.0/26.2.0.192.IN-ADDR.ARPA.
3.2.0.192.IN-ADDR.ARPA. CNAME 3.0/26.2.0.192.IN-ADDR.ARPA.
.
.
.
24.2.0.192.IN-ADDR.ARPA. CNAME 24.0/26.2.0.192.IN-ADDR.ARPA.

Your customer has to create a domain file called
"0/26.2.0.192.IN-ADDR.ARPA." with the following records:
0/26.2.0.192.IN-ADDR.ARPA. NS your.customers.server.com.
0/26.2.0.192.IN-ADDR.ARPA. NS your.quickdns.server.com.
1.0/26.2.0.192.IN-ADDR.ARPA. PTR real.name1.domain.com.
2.0/26.2.0.192.IN-ADDR.ARPA. PTR real.name2.domain.com.
3.0/26.2.0.192.IN-ADDR.ARPA. PTR real.name3.domain.com.
.
.
.
24.0/26.2.0.192.IN-ADDR.ARPA. PTR real.namen.domain.com.

Then you have to configure your QuickDNS server as a secondary for
"0/26.2.0.192.IN-ADDR.ARPA.", using your customers server as a primary.

The syntax in the example is the suggested syntax for classless delegation
in RFC 2317.

Hope this helps.
Best regards,
Sigfus
