Hi CJ,
Thats weird, one of our corporate sites has QDNS for their primary
external DNS and they suck it down to internal cache DNS on Squid's all
over the company. The Squids are running on MkLinux, LinuxPPC and Linux
(Intel based). From memory we didn't have to do anything special apart
from make sure the ports on the corporate firewall were open.

Maybe you have something like a firewall filter causing you grief...
