Need help with a custom MX configurationFrom: Michael Pinkowski Date: Monday, August 10, 1998
Time: 9:24:00 pmGreetings -
I have a customer who would like to have me forward all of his e-mail to
his unix box but keep control of his web site on my server. His web site
has been working fine for 6+ months. Here is a look at the records as I
have them set up in QDNS 2.0:
cornerstar.com. NS primary.panda-web.com.
cornerstar.com. NS sec1.dns.psi.net.
cornerstar.com. NS sec2.dns.psi.net.
cornerstar.com. MX 10 gw.cornerstar.com.
www.cornerstar.com. A 38.231.190.72
www2.cornerstar.com. CNAM www.panda-web.com.
gw.cornerstar.com. A 209.51.77.230
This works when mail is adressed to user@gw.cornerstar.com <---note "gw"
How can I set it up so that it routes mail for user@cornerstar.com??
