Hi,

I'm sorry but I was unable to reply to your messages before the weekend.

Correct, DNS servers don't use the serial number as a date but it's more
useful for us when it represents a date. A secondary server only knows
that it has to update a domain when the serial number of it has been
increased.

Unfortunately there is a bug in QuickDNS Pro 2.1 which causes the Admin to
crash when exporting domains (it crashes when exporting the serial no. of
the domain). You can export the domain using QuickDNS Pro Admin 2.0.
We're working on a fix and we expect to release a maintenance update this
fall.

Best regards,
Sigfus
