Well, we are a Computer Store/ISP, same store, different names. I can tell
you that 80 - 90% of problems are the user. :) We have an NT server PPro
256MB SCSI acting as our quake & Q2 server, OG server, Office server, VPN
stuff, and it has never gone down, or locked up, or rebooted on and off.
Sure we have installed some programs that have made things weird, but
either remove them or get them setup right and everything is back to normal
:). I used to use 95 on my workstation and got sick of it, used 98 for a
short time :( and now use NT 4 workstation and have had no problems. I
even took my same OS which was NT 4.0 installed on a SCSI P166MMX Giga-Byte
MB and switched it all over to a ABIT LX PII 266 over clocked to 337 and
all I had to change was my video card in order to run the high MHz. Off
course I clocked my machine back down to 300 because quake would act funny,
and we can't have that now can we :P I did not want to have to reboot and
change my speed just to play quake, I play it way to much. Anyway, I put
almost all new hardware with an old installation of NT and did not have to
reinstall. hehe, luck, maybe.

What does all that mean, well as one of my co-workers always says PEBKAC
(Problem Exists Between Keyboard And Computer)

Oh yea and "What did you do before you computer started acting up?"
"Well, I was cleaning up my HDD by deleting some files"
"These files wouldn't have happened to be in your windows directory would
they?"
"Um, I am not sure, but know my computer wont boot"

Hehe that is a common one :)

Just had to through in my 2 cents while everyone was talking about it and I
did say something about OG, so that justifies it being on this list, kinda
sorta :)
