I know what you mean... And I would love to have a G3 for every service I
run. (I'm not the kind of person who has WebStar, ListSTAR POP, EIMS,
Filemaker and QuickDNS running on very the same machine).
I happen to have farm of 6100's and none my collegues have complained about
DNS lookup performance so far - nor have our customers.
EIMS and WebSTAR have remote admin applications that work great over TCP/IP
(and I run EIMS on a 6100 too). Even on my slow 64K ISDN at home it's very
fast.
Why not a use similar approach to DNS administration.
