Search Again: Mail server setup From: Karl Johnson Date: Wednesday, November 11, 1998 Time: 6:55:00 pm I am new to QuickDNS Pro and am having some trouble setting it up to work with my mail server. I have the MX record for domain tipton.k12.ia.us set to mail.tipton.k12.ia.us In the past we have been able to simply configure our e-mail clients to check for e-mail at tipton.k12.ia.us It currently only works when I check for my e-mail at mail.tipton.k12.ia.us I can PING my mail server via IP and the URL mail.tipton.k12.ia.us. However, it cannot resolve tipton.k12.ia.us. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
