Search Again: Livingston Radius Problems... From: Marlon Eveline Date: Tuesday, September 29, 1998 Time: 9:20:35 am OK I finally got NT Radius and Livingston Radius running. I chose to try first Livingston's. I using NT's RRAS and I cannot make Livingston Radius to accept me conection. I wanted to use my NT user database so i configured it to authenticate with the system but I later found out via the log files that the passwd comes with the CHAP protocol and not the PAP, and you can authenticate with the syste using only PAP. OK here are some examples of my tries. sam Password = "sam" Auth-Type = Local, Service-Type = Framed-User, Framed-Protocol = PPP, Framed-Compression = Van-Jacobson-TCP-IP, Idle-Timeout = 900, Framed-MTU = 1500, Framed-Routing = Broadcast, NAS-Identifier = "NS2", NAS-Port-Type = Async, DEFAULT Auth-Type = System Service-Type = Framed-User, Framed-Protocol = PPP, Framed-Compression = Van-Jacobson-TCP-IP, Idle-Timeout = 900, Framed-MTU = 1500, Port-Limit=1 OK and here is what i get on the Log File.
