Off topic, adding IP''s to an existing LAN.

Is it at all possible to run a new block of IP's through an existing
router/T1? For example, lets say you have a T-1 connection for your
backbone to an Upscale provider and a Cisco router. The current block of
IP's delegated for the LAN through that connection is almost exhausted
and you need more. Can another block of IP's be routed through that
connection/router even though on a different subnet?
