I tried this aswell, and thought that it was working OK...
The machine would answer to queries from our LAN, but
QDNS did not seem to send out its data to secondary
servers or other DNS servers on the net...
I do not know why, and don't even remember all the problems
correctly, but it took me a whole while to figure out it was
that secondary address that was causing all the problems.
When switching the secondary IP (DNS) to the primary, all
problems went away, and all DNS data was spread out...
Moral of this story: do not use a secondary IP for your
QDNS server (at least, not yet....)!
