Search Again: Editing QDNS files From: Steve Linford Date: Thursday, May 13, 1999 Time: 9:43:00 pm I need to change the name of a secondary mailhost across many QDNS domains, does anyone know if there's an easy way to do it (I'd love to just run BBEdit's search/replace on the Primary Data folder but the QNDS file type seems proprietory). If there's no choice but to manually go through each domain, does anyone know if it's possible to edit QDNS domains from another machine on the LAN (my DNS server is in a rack - realy uncomfortable for working at unless you're a Giraff). What I was thinking of was putting an alias of the QuickDNS Data folder onto my normal machine and then using the QuickDNS Pro Admin app locally on that - any reason it wouldn't work?
