Search Again: Failed lookups to www.amazon.com and others.... From: Randy Millsop Date: Thursday, May 27, 1999 Time: 12:11:00 am We've been using QuickDNS Pro since it was released and have never had any problems looking up names in any domain on the Internet. We're still using version 1.1.2 and for the last 10 days or so, have not been able to resolve 'www.amazon.com' or 'www.barnesandnoble.com'. Other name servers are able to resolve them. I have 4 instances of QuickDNS Pro running, on 2 completely independent ISP connections and all 4 fail to resolve those names. After resetting everything at our site and still not being able to resolve those names, I downloaded QuickDNS Pro 2.2.1, and found that it can resolve those names without a problem. Does anybody have an explanation for this?
