Search Again: Dropping Bogus Replies From: QuickDNS Date: Friday, June 25, 1999 Time: 12:53:00 am Recently I have been noticing quite a few entries in the QuickDNS log file stating: "Dropping bogus reply from..." followed by an IP address which resolves to various root servers. There will be a group of eight or nine of these entries happening throughout the day at one or two hour intervals. What's causing this? I don't think it was happening a week ago.
