Search Again: Radius Log Importing From: Sergio A. Murillo Date: Thursday, October 1, 1998 Time: 10:43:33 am HI ALL!! I'm having trouble importing Radius log files into Optigold. I just finish installing Livingston Raduis Server for NT (vr 2.0.1) and it works just peachy. I configured Optigold to import Livinston Files (Preferences/Usage) and it just doesn't work... I supose the file to import is the accounting log.. is this correct? Here is a sample of this file: Wed Sep 30 12:24:07 1998 Acct-Status-Type = Start Acct-Session-Id = "65535" User-Name = "sam" NAS-Port = 0 NAS-Identifier = "NS2" Framed-Protocol = PPP Timestamp = 907179847 Wed Sep 30 12:27:56 1998 Acct-Status-Type = Stop Acct-Session-Id = "65535" User-Name = "sam" NAS-Port = 0 NAS-Identifier = "NS2" Framed-Protocol = PPP Acct-Session-Time = 780 Timestamp = 907180076 OK as you can see the all important Acct-Session-Time is there... Livingston generates 2 other files, the Radius.log and Radius.mdb. I've tried with the first with no luck and I can;t open the second because Livinston apparently is using it. i've been reading some of the list archives and I tried the Parser.USR to no avail. Do you have to use it even though Optigold reads Livingston Files?? If so which fields on the above example do I have to pair with Login Input, Record Type Input,Time Online and gLast Login. I might add that the first and second "Record" do not have the exact number of field nor thier order. As you can see I'm really lost and need help. Thank You Sergio
