I've used the latest versions of QDNS Pro, 6220CD (75Mhz 603e) 24MB RAM,
7.6, OT 1.12, with about 30 domains. I've got it running in a 12MB RAM
partition, and it does several hundred thousand lookups per day. 99% of
these are for modem dialup users, surfing the net. The other 1% would be
inbound requests from other DNS servers, for web site lookups, email
lookups, and the like....
It's allways fast. Sounds like the only difference between my setup, and
the people that are having problems, is the sheer number of domains/records
hosted on the machine.
