Search Again: domain.com vs. www.domain.com From: Jeff Tobler Date: Monday, August 30, 1999 Time: 4:01:00 pm Hi all, I've a problem (which I'm sure is my not fully grasping QuickDNSPro) with not being able to specify just the domain name with no host specified. <<www.domainname.com>> works fine <<domainname.com>> does NOT work -> Why not? For example, typing in http://menandmice.com doesn't work where http://www.menandmice.com does. I want anyone to be able to type only the domain name to access the main site. I know this is probably just a setting, but I can't seem to make it happen. (And I know this is possible, because most site can be accessed by entering just the domain name.) Can anyone help me out?
