Search Again: DNS Expert From: Peter Bancroft Date: Saturday, September 11, 1999 Time: 1:24:00 am Wanted to put in a plug for DNS Expert. I'm working as a consultant to a company that wants to use Macs as a webserver. I am not a big expert in DNS and, of course, ran into some problems. However the demo of DNS Expert helped me pick up a few clues about where I was going wrong. It took me a week. The errors were fixed and my customer is now online. If they don't buy DNSE then I will. I think its great. Guess what. We went online and within 12 hours people were trying to hack into the Webstar server using Webstar Admin! I used Traceroute and was able to determine the IP number where the hack was coming from. The Police are the next phone call. ... and no, I don't work for Men & Mice.
