Even if it seems absurd...

Delete your TCP/IP preferences

System Folder:Preferences:TCP/IP Preferences

Reenter your TCP-IP setup using the TCP/IP control panel

And then try launching QDNS again...

We sometimes had the symptom that after a crash (for whatever reason) TCP/IP
was no longer able to initialize. Even the information shown in the TCP/IP
control panel WAS ok. But some part of the preferences must have become
corrupt. And after deleting the file and reentering the TCP/IP configuration
(the pref file will be created anew) everything was ok again...

Might work in your case, too...
