Search Again: PTR records From: Peter Bancroft Date: Wednesday, September 15, 1999 Time: 1:39:00 am I have setup a server with QDNS that works well on the internet. People can access all of the services offered. DNS Expert tells me that there is no PTR record for 'ns1...." and 2 others. My upstream ISP has an in-addr.arpa form that allows me to type in names against IP numbers eg 203.43.222.228 webserver.com.au 203.43.222.227 ns1.webserver.com.au 203.43.222.226 ns2.webserver.com.au When I put these in, DNS Expert doesn't report the error about PTR records.
