How about a Carbon-native version? I'm not saying anything official here, but it seems more likely to me that our engineering guys will make the far easier port to Carbon.

That last sentence is on target. No reason to create a real GUI for BIND, no reason to add AppleScript hooks to BIND, etc. The existing code has the interface you're familiar with, and it has some pretty extensive AS hooks. All we have to do is make a few changes to make it Carbon-ready. (Again, none of this is official word - frankly, I don't know any more than anybody else on this list about our plans for the MacOS X version.)
