If the sites are shared across the same set of servers, it is preferable to use one LB record and do the rest with CNAME records. That way, each web server communicates with each DNS server only once per response period.

Keep in mind that, if the LB record ever needs to be changed, all your domains are affected. For example, if the domain that contains the LB record suddenly goes away, you have a problem.

The secondary server needs to act as secondary for the domain, exotype.com, and for the LB record, maui.exotype.com. Note that these get entered in the appropriate panels of the Secondary Data window.
