Zone files disappearing

Hello,

We just recently switched from MacDNS to QuickDNS Pro. I simply imported all of the MacDNS zone files into QuickDNS and everything seemed to be working great. Then about a week ago we had a couple domains stop working in QuickDNS Pro. The zone files were there and they had originally loaded ok but for some reason QuickDNS pro had magically and invisibly unloaded the zone files from memory. The domains were not in the list of Primaries in the Admin app but the log showed that they had been loaded and the zone files were in the correct folder. I restarted the server and the problem was fixed. Then a few days later it looked like the same problem had happened but when I checked, the zone file for one of the problem domains had magically disappeared from the Primary domains FOLDER completely! This time I had to re-import the MacDNS zone file and save the new QuickDNS zone file to get the domain working again. I ran diagnostics on the machine and the hard drive is fine with no problems. The only way to make changes to this server should be by getting physical access and I am the only one who ever touches this machine, so I don't know what happened.

Could someone tell me why this might have happened???

This server is a Quadra 610 OS 8.1 with 40MB ram running the following:

QuickDNS Pro 2.1.1 Had memory set to 8 MB now it is set to 4 MB
MacJordomo
SIMS
