I'm guessing you mean that you have a mail loop. This is almost always caused by a misconfigured primary mail server, though it can also be caused by incorrect DNS settings.

I checked the DNS records for nextnet.com, and everything looks fine on that end. Your MX record and one of your NS records point to names that resolve to the same address. This indicates that your mail server and your (probably primary) DNS server are running on the same machine. Is this correct?

If so, the problem is in your mail server settings. The mail server needs to be configured to accept (not relay) mail for nextnet.com. Also, if you host any other domains, if the MX record with the lowest priority number points to this machine, then the mail server needs to be configured to accept mail for these domains.

I'm curious as to what mail server this is. Given that it appears to be running on the same machine as your primary DNS, which I take to be QuickDNS Pro, I have to conclude that this mail server is running on MacOS. Given this, what DNS server would they have you use? Something like BIND, which doesn't run on MacOS without a BSD wrapper (i.e. MachTen)? Or (shudder) MS DNS, which only runs on WindowsNT?

QuickDNS Pro is indeed a "real" DNS server, with performance characteristics rivaling that of BIND. In a sense, MacDNS and Nonsequitur (the other commonly-used DNS servers for MacOS) are not fully functional DNS servers. Perhaps the mail server vendor thought you were using MacDNS.
