FWIW, we had problems with a MacOS Web Server (Web*, MacOS 8.6) and a
1600 Series Cisco router whereby the Mac crashed every time an external
request came through the router. Installing the latest (MacOS 9) version
of Open Transport fixed the problem. I mention this as you could try just
installing the latest version of OT (swapping in 2 files did it for us)
and you may fix the problem. A simple trick to try.
