Reverse Domain Problem

I've been running DNS Expert for the last two months on my primary DNS
(2.2.1) and I get two rather frustrating errors.

1. There is no PTR record for domain.com. However, when I check the
reverse domain, it's there and just as happy as can be. I've deleted
the entire reverse domain and rebuilt it three times using the domain
assistant to build (and update) it. I've thought that I need to wait
for the root servers to update before I run DNS Expert again, but it
doesn't make any difference! Is there something I am missing here?

2. The PTR record for xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx should point to domain1.com but
it points to domain2.com. Domain2 is a CNAME to domain1 and I've done
the same as above with building the reverse domain with the domain
assistant.

What am I doing wrong and how do I fix it? HELP!
Steve
