Not to mention that delegation of smaller than class C blocks (RFC 2317)
doesn't seem well known. My ISP had no clue what I was talking about until I
referred him to the specific RFC, and even then didn't want to deal with it.
My ISP claims they will eventually provide a web interface to allow
customers to update their own reverse DNS. They're using BIND on a Unix
platform, so this won't help me in that situation, but it would be
interesting to allow updates to QDNS with password access on a
domain-by-domain basis, and on an address range basis for reverse DNS. I
don't necessarily want QDNS burdened by a web server, but has anyone tried
this via plugin or other CGI? Is QDNS or QDNS admin scriptable enough to
allow this?
