Hello All,

Ok, I'm trying to do this:

I have my DNS entries like this:

alice.netshak.com A xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
netshak.com. MX 10 alice.netshak.com.
mail.netshak.com. CNAME alice.netshak.com.

I also have a domain I'm hosting that's set up like this:

customer.com MX 10 alice.netshak.com.
mail.customer.com CNAME alice.netshak.com.

I was going to try to make it so that I could have them log on to mail.customer.com so they wouldn't have to log into mail.netshak.com for their eMail, but it's not resolving for some reason. can you tell me why?

What needs to change? Am I violating any DNS rules (or trying to?)?

Thanks,

Rob Thiemann

Once you go with the 'Shak, you won't go back!
