Right, I also saw this delay. This is one of the things that
made me wonder if it was DNS related.

I am using WS 4.0 and the WS Virtual hosts plugin. I am also
using FireSite for replication of files.

All of the domains listed above have at least some files
replicated by FS - but again, from my testing and yours, I dount
FS has anything to do with the problem.

I did just check the settings and the settings between these
domains are all the same. At one point I thought it was due to
some domains having their own IP number and others not, but this
is not the case as resourcecenterdallas doesn't have its own IP
number. All of these domains are on the same machine.

I will try to look at the VH text file to see if I can see
anything strange. Some of these domains were previously on
another machine. To get them on this machine I used a utility
from Clearway to import the domains. This program had (for me) a
minor problem in that te error.html filename was messed up. I
manually corrected those entries and everything seemed fine at
the time (I did not have the response problem then)
