Well, you can create records like this:
*.myDomain.com. CNAME www.otherdomain.com.
*.myDomain.com. MX 10 mail.otherdomain.com.
*.myDomain.com. A 192.168.1.1

But if you're trying to create this effect:
myHost1.myDomain.com. CNAME host1.otherdomain.com.
myHost2.myDomain.com. CNAME host2.otherdomain.com.

then no, wildcards won't do this.

There is a way to do this easily with BIND 8, using the $GENERATE directive to iterate through a series of records that only differ by an iterator. You can also create this effect with QuickDNS Pro, in a quasi-manual sort of way, using AppleScript.
