CERT (Computer Emergency Response Team) has released an advisory
<http://www.cert.org/advisories/CA-99-17-denial-of-service-tools.html>
regarding new tools which can be used to facilitate distributed
denial-of-service attacks. Additionally, Mac OS 9 systems (and iBook, iMac
DV and Power Macintosh G4 systems running Mac OS 8.6) can be used as traffic
amplifiers to conduct such a denial-of-service attack.
