What does it say in the QuickDNS log? Any error messages on trying to load the domain?
As a test, I created a CNAME record in my version of the domain, and I made it point to "www.apple.com.". Typing the name of the CNAME alias into my browser worked fine - I got to see Apple's home page.
Is your web browser set to use your DNS server as its resolver? Is the name you're typing into the browser also the name of a record (either A or CNAME) in the domain file? Have you left out any 1's?
