Re: mail server cannot be found...From: Higher Powered Date: Friday, January 14, 2000

All is well again... sort of.
I needed to restart QDNS for some reason. Either that, or my isp is messing
with the reverse lookup or something at the exact time I'm doing this!
But my mail server, cannot do a lookup for 208.1.125.162 when I have tcp/ip
set to my dns.
Am I correct then in assuming the following:
It is trying to do a reverse lookup and failing.
This is the problem with my isp, as they have my reverse records
This is a much more important thing than I thought
this could be the problem behind all my mail problems
Thanks,
Jim
