Your MX record should point to whatever server is going to accept connections from the outside. Only set it to your SMTP server if the SMTP server will then forward these messages to your POP server(s).
It is perfectly legal to use multiple names for the same address, as you have done above. (Don't forget periods on the ends of all your records, and don't forget the mail server preference number.)
Your PTR record for this address should resolve to any one of these names. You simply won't have a PTR record that resolves to the other names - you shouldn't have more than one PTR record per IP address.
