I''ve done it now ...From: David M. Cole Date: Thursday, March 2, 2000
Time: 11:30:00 pmGang:
I'm getting a bunch of bounces of mail going out from my list servers, with
errors like:
>451 Nameserver timeout during parsing
>450 defer '<postmaster@colegroup.com>SIZE=8659', sender address target
>>'colegroup.com' cannot be verified at this time
>451 <postmaster@colegroup.com>... Sender domain must resolve
Could someone please run DNSExpert against my main domain: colegroup.com ?
From here, with the primary and one of the secondaries on my own network, I
get "The primary server ns1.newsinc.net is not responding" and/or "The
secondary server ns2.colegroup.com is not responding." The secondary that's
in Singapore? That responds.
BTW, I can TB2 into the servers and they seem to respond to other things.
ns1.newsinc.net is an 8100/80 w/96mb of memory, also running EIMS 1.3.1,
Macjordomo fc5, NetPrenz 4.0.1, Adobe Acrobat Distiller 4.0 and QDNSP 2.2.1.
ns2.colegroup.com is a 6100/60 w/24mb of memory (VM to 48mb), also running
EIMS 2.2.2 and Macjordomo fc5 and QDNSP 2.2.1.
What could I have possibly done to cause my own name servers to go deaf?
TIA.

PS: Please cc me as I'm on the digest.
