automating secondary service on Linux

We have QDNS Pro configured as primary and secondary servers and want to set
up our ISP as an additional secondary. They're running Linux and tell us
they normally just need the server address and filename of the zone records
to set up automatic updates on their box. This is different from QDNS's
requirement of a name and primary IP for each secondary domain.

So I'm wondering what I should tell them. Do they have to manually
configure each secondary as I do with QDNS, or can they set up automated
updates that will find new domains on our Primary QDNS machine and
automatically create secondaries.

I'd like the process to be as efficient as possible for them so that our
info stays up to date.

TIA,

Gabriel
